I just made my first cake! Aren't you proud of me?
P.S. This is why I always let my Mom and Sean take care of the cooking.

I don't always get the cooking right either!!!
(although I could have told you about cutting off the domed tops! :P)
Poor Allie :) I am sure it will still taste good though!
The taste is all that matters unless you are in France. And it look as if it will taste really good.
allie, only allie.
we still love you!!
did you put the icing on while the cake was still warm?
Oh, Allie... You're the best!
Wow, Allie, you're funny. :)
Gotta say, I'm not that humble about my cooking disasters... I wipe my tears and throw it away, and my family delicately pretends that nothing ever happened in the kitchen. :) I'm sure it'll taste fine.
You should get your brother to cook with you!
haha, i left butter out of icing once...and it all just sort of slid...it was supposed to be a "basket weave" icing style (i was little and didn't know you needed special tools to do complicated stuff like that) but instead it looked like a melting winter =D
Aw, you guys are sweet.
Good update: it did taste fabulous! And it looked much prettier once you cut it :)
(Joanna, that must have been what happened...although I thought I chilled the frosting long enough!)
Aww ally!
You'll get it, I'm no genius at cooking either. I have MUCH to learn =P
Oh wow. A masterpiece! Ha! I love it! Don't worry...I burned three batches of brownies all in one day!
